Formula Rossa is a launched roller coaster located at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is the world's fastest roller coaster at a top speed of 240 kilometers per hour (150 mph). The ride accelerates to its top speed in 4.9 seconds using a hydraulic launch system which is similar to that used on aircraft carriers. The roller coaster is over 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) in length, ranking it 6th in the world."
